The energy performance certificate is the set of operations carried out by accredited bodies (energy certifiers or certification bodies), for issuing Energy Performance Attestation and aims to bring to the attention of the customer, easily understandable information about how much energy a building consumes.
In Italy, the energy certificate, under certain conditions (new construction, renovation, sale etc ...), it is mandatory since 2005.

Energy Certification according to the Cened Protocol (Lombardy Region)
For the mandatory energy certification, the Lombardy Region has developed a software named Cened +, which allows to do energy certification based on the value of the energy performance requirements for heating, getting the index of CO2 emissions, as well as the energy performance index for the production of domestic hot water. ask for a quote

Energy Certification according to the KlimaHouse Protocol (Province of Bolzano)
Energy certification according to the protocol KlimaHouse, is the first to be activated in Italy and is now released for the Energy Agency South Tyrol.
KlimaHouse today is one of Europe's leading energy brands, and a symbol of high quality, comfort and energy efficiency.
This certification is compulsory in South Tyrol and can be made voluntarily on the rest of the national territory, is issued on the basis of parameters such as energy efficiency of the building envelope, of the technological plants and test results of air tightness of the building (Blower Door Test n50).

KlimaHouse Certification R
In the case of energy retrofits, the Agency proposes a further KlimaHouse certification protocol, called KlimaHouse R.
The experience gained by the energy certification, has shown that very often, existing buildings are characterized by the presence of non-modifiable conditions, that do not allow full compliance with the stringent requirements of the standard protocol, more suited to new construction.
The protocol KlimaHouse R offers the possibility, in the presence of demonstrated constraints (planning, scenic, historical, regulation of hygiene etc ...), not to comply with certain mandatory requirements for new construction, while maintaining the minimum requirements to ensure both for energy performance, but also in terms of quality of the intervention and the health and comfort of the inhabitants.

Energy Certification according to the Passive House standard
The term Passive House was introduced in Germany in 1996 and reflects a constructive standard recognized at the international level, which guarantees high interior comfort and ecological sustainability, with climatic conditions that can go from the rigid climates of northern Europe, the warmer Mediterranean climates.
This certification, which can be obtained on a voluntary basis throughout the national territory, is released respecting a number of parameters such as: index of thermal performance in winter and summer, air tightness test result, primary energy consumption for heating, cooling, water heaters, auxiliary power, electricity for lighting and appliances, and other indicators.

Sustainability KlimaHouse Certification
The Energy Agency of South Tyrol - KlimaHouse also proposes protocols sustainability certification: KlimaHouse Nature, Climate House Hotel, KlimaHouse Wine, KlimaHouse Work & Life, applicable throughout the nation.
These protocols are used to verify and certify not only energy efficiency, but also the quality and environmental sustainability, with different specificities, related to individual areas of application; are in fact taken into account aspects such as the acoustic climate of the interior, the emission of harmful substances from the materials used in the construction, use and disposal of water. The staff of Sonnergie offers his assistance to the achievement of sustainability certification in Italy and abroad.
